the rice experiment

Just thinking about makes me shudder....To tell you what makes me shudder so greatly I may have to include a short story of discription to explain.[ thinking .... loading...] The gidance counsler at my school got some notion that if you take two containors of rice and be nice to one and mean to another that it will afect the cycle of mold!!!!!! NOT!!! The whole school had to do it!!! Recently before the dredfull experiment started the whole 5th grade was made to read a book about a fat girl that steals money. Apparently this book was sopposed to help us decide how the mold was FEELING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really! The only reason my teacher let this happen was beacause she was trying to ignore the fact that the gidance consler was aranging this and tried to imadgine it to be a sience  experiment. The counsler even seemened to believe that our words would change how the rice was molding!!!! We were expected to have little conversations with the horrid rice!! She even  made us draw colored pictures of the rice and the mold. She even collected the packet!!!! One teacher continually updated our class on the activity of her mold. At one point it wass pink then purple!!! Around the middle of the experiment the school started to reek!!!! The memory of this experiment will horrify me for years to come and should be against the health laws of the state!!!!!
