We recently obtained a new kitten. After some discussion between naming him Sling Shot,or Yo-Yo we finally decided to go with Hienz 57. When Hienz was graduated from garage to house he raced about exploring our cockatiel Lola's cage with joy and glee. His other amusments include chasing Whisper, our tuxedo cat, and sparring with Lucy, our short haired orange tabby.
Hienz has grown so fast that he is now the size of Whisper. Just yesterday morning he leaped up upon Whisper's back. In anger and frustration at his refusal to behave I condemed him to the garage as sort of a "time out". Then later that day as we were headed out for a birthday party we heard a soft mewing. Up on the top shelf of the garage, with some ceiling tiles and sleds was Hienz! As we were late for the party already my mother urged little Hienz down. Although he was eager to see us after an hour in the garage, he definetely took his sweet time. Leasurly walking past the bikes and weaving around tubs of soccer equiptment. When he finally made his way out of the maze I scooped him up and shoved him in the house.
When we get home in the afternoon Whisper runs out the door joyfully with Lucy slowly following and Hienz atempting to make a run for it. As we step in the house a pile of shredded fake birds and nests from my mom's displays and bird houses. (no wonder Whisper can't wait to escape from the house)
